Strengtia Probiotics

Did you know that probiotics can help with many common health problems, including diarrhea, yeast infections, stomach upset, constipation, and even urinary tract infections?

It’s true – probiotics are gaining a lot of attention from the healthcare community as well as the media as more and more people are seeing the benefits of pursuing a healthy diet that includes digestive enzymes and probiotics. Usually found in some foods or in dietary supplements, probiotics are live microorganisms, or good bacteria, which help your body perform normal digestive functions.  They usually occur in your body naturally in the intestines, but over time, they can be depleted.

“Many people start out in life already lacking the proper gut ecology, and even if we do have an optimal condition, it can be disrupted by the stress of everyday life, prescribed antibiotics, pathogenic bacteria invaders and air and water pollution,” said E. Frank Hodal, Jr. of Little Calumet Holdings, LLC, a supplement maker, in a recent press release. “Maintaining the correct balance of intestinal microflora is essential to sustaining good health, and this can be aided by adding a probiotic supplement to a healthy diet.”

Without probiotics, we would be more prone to infection, nutrient deficiencies, and even some common health problems. Moreover, new research is showing that probiotics are an essential component for those who are pregnant or are prone to digestive discomfort.

If you want to get more probiotics in your diet, try taking a probiotic supplement from or eat foods where they occur naturally, like yogurt, kefir, and cottage cheese. Remember – having more probiotics in your system can truly make a difference.
